Yeshiva University women’s soccer player (Teaneck native) Merav Saden Barach was recently named to the Jewish Sports Review All-America team for the 2013 NCAA soccer season.
Saden Barach proved to be a stalwart for the Maccabees women’s team. She was named a Hudson Valley Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (HVIAC) All-Star for 2013 after scoring a team-high seven goals and offering one assist. She netted five goals in one game this season when she put five past the Medgar Evers stopper during a 10-0 win over the Cougars on Oct. 2.
