Yom Ha’atzmaut at Yavneh Academy began with a beautiful tefillah chagigit. The students then all joined together on the fields for dancing and seventh grade Daglanut. The ruach and love for Israel was palpable! ECD students traveled all the way to Israel and visited Yerushalayim, Tzfat, a kibbutz, a winery and an army base! First and second graders visited mini-Israel created by Yavneh students. Grades three through five students had a special Israel themed color war! Middle school students participated in various Israel projects in different classrooms. The day concluded with Yavneh’s second annual Yom Ha’atzmaut family celebration coordinated by Yavneh parents Michelle Frohlich and Renana Silverman.
