In advance of Yom Ha’atzmaut, Yavneh Academy’s ECD classes focused on exploring a few cities in the land of Israel, including Yerushalayim, Tzfat and Eilat. Students also discussed how Israel is a very special place for the Jewish people and they studied Reuven Rubin, who painted many scenes in Israel. The students even created their own paintings inspired by Rubin’s art.
