Close to 100 members of Yavneh Academy’s Chesed Team gathered for the first Chesed Team event of the year! This month’s work is dedicated to the wonderful work of Friendship Circle, an organization which provides programming and social opportunities for children with developmental disabilities. Yavneh’s Friendship Circle presidents addressed the students and shared Friendship Circle’s mission. The team then put together Rosh Hashanah craft packages for the children of Friendship Circle, including decorating Rosh Hashanah bags and making Rosh Hashanah cards. The bags were filled with toy shofarot, craft kits or decoupage, and Rosh Hashanah plate kits. Kol hakavod!
