Yavneh Academy celebrated Tu B’Shevat this past week.  Early childhood had a special singalong with Mr. Yoni and sang their favorite tree songs. The morot even performed a play about a tree’s birthday. Wearing Tu B’Shevat tree birthday crowns, the children practiced their brachot on special Tu B’Shevat foods with the Bnot Sherut.  Lower school students participated in exciting brachot-themed activities as well. The first and second graders showcased their knowledge in Yavneh’s annual brachot bee, where their hard work and preparation shone through. Yavneh’s third through fifth graders engaged in a dynamic, panoply-style brachot challenge, testing their skills on brachot rishonot and achronot. Kol hakavod to all the students who participated and made the events a success.
