On the Friday before Peasch, the Yavneh Academy Miriam Devorah and Rabbi Louis Leifer z”l erev Shabbat assembly, was transformed into a truly memorable Pesach experience.  The assembly started with a special kiddush from Rabbi Penn.  The youngest first graders recited Mah Nishtana, and retold the story of yetziat Mitzrayim complete with the mitzrim, avadim, makkot and crossing the Yam Suf! They played “cham v’kar” while looking for the afikoman and even had a special visit from Eliyahu Hanavi. Finally, they sang and danced.  They hope and pray the Pesach seder next year will take place in Yerushalayim.
