Almost 60 members of the Yavneh Academy Chesed Team joined Yachad for a Chanukah party at the Mendel Balk Yachad Center. The group participated in a drumming session where they each played Chanukah songs. Some Yavneh students prepared a dance and performed during one of those songs. Two Yavneh students performed; one on drums where participants mimicked his rhythm and another student played keyboard. Everyone then decorated special Chanukah gift bags. The evening ended with delicious Chanukah cookies. What a fun and fulfilling way to celebrate Chanukah.
