Yavneh Academy seventh and eighth grade students gathered for the first Civic Spirit Club meeting of the year. Yavneh is part of a group of middle schools who are starting Civic Spirit Clubs with their students. The students enjoyed stars and stripes Hershey Kisses and red, white and blue cupcakes, while discussing different ideas for club projects. As the students develop their projects over the course of the year they will learn civic engagement skills and implement their projects in their school community.
