In preparation for Yom Kippur Yavneh Academy Gan students read the book “How Dalia Put a Big Yellow Comforter Inside a Tiny Blue Box and Other Wonders of Tzedakah” by Linda Heller and learned many ways to give tzedaka. They worked together using their own classroom materials to create a class tzedaka box. They chose a container, measured a slit for the top, decorated it together and gave tzedaka!
