Working in the Mini-Makerspace gives Yavneh Academy first graders a hands-on learning experience which allows each student’s creativity to shine. The students begin with their own idea or structure that they want to create. The next step is to create a prototype for their designs either on paper or using an iPad. The students are currently working on their creations and are using supplies from the Mini Makerspace, support from their peers, trial and error and their growing confidence to ultimately complete their designs with pride.
