On Monday evening, May 23, Yavneh Academy celebrated its fourth annual Evening of the Arts celebration, sponsored by the Judah Marans Music and Arts Center. After two years of a virtual program, the evening was back in person, making it even more special. The artwork on display showcased Yavneh’s varied curriculum in grades one through eight and transformed the hallway walls into a museum. The student work featured sculptures, paintings, drawings, collage and photography. The evening included several “creation stations” where visitors were invited to partake in a glow in the dark drawing experience, collaborative murals and weavings, photo booth fun and more. During the musical portion of the evening, student soloists had an opportunity to showcase their talents. In addition, the audience was privileged to listen to selections from the Yavneh Junior Chorus, the Yavneh sixth grade Rhythm Band and the Yavneh Middle School Band.
