The students at Yavneh Academy have been busy learning about Rosh Hashanah. The children listened to the shofar with Rabbi Knapp and heard all of its different sounds, as well as learning about what animals a shofar can come from. The children also learned about bees and how honey is made. They learned about different types of apples, baked apple cake, played games and painted with apples. They also created beautiful Rosh Hashanah cards and honey dishes. Wishing everyone a healthy and sweet new year! Shana Tova!
