Inter-grade learning is back in person at Yavneh Academy! For the first time in a long time, the students had the amazing opportunity to join together in an inter-grade learning program in honor of Yom Yerushalayim. Students in grades one through four welcomed students of grades five through eight into their classrooms to learn together. The sound of Torah was wonderful and inspiring, as students learned about the significance of names, specifically the name of Yerushalayim. Everyone then shared their Hebrew name, thought about its meaning and significance and researched their Jewish birthdays to make individual Jewish birth certificates.
