Yavneh Academy first graders joined International Dot Day celebrating creativity, courage and collaboration. Students read “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds, sang the dot song with hand movements and made incredible dots on the iPad. The enthusiasm was infectious. Students then watched classes from all over the world celebrate Dot Day—joining more than 27 million people in 200 countries in celebration. Dots were everywhere; dots made with their feet, dot necklaces and collaborative dot posters; Quiver augmented reality dots and even healthy dot fruit snacks. They learned that if you love something, be courageous, try it and see where it takes you. International Dot Day took students on a creative, lively journey and they will always remember this successful day.
