A major focus of the Yavneh Academy sixth grade technology curriculum is digital citizenship.
On Tuesday, April 26, the students visited third grade classrooms to teach and share what they have learned. The topics included: appropriate screen time and finding a balance, digital security, digital footprint, cyber-bullying prevention, digital etiquette and social media. All were presented in an age-appropriate manner. After the presentations, the third graders played games designed by the sixth graders specifically about their topics. It was heartening to see the sixth graders display confidence and pride in their accomplishments as they shared their new found expertise with their younger peers.
