Yavneh Academy fourth and fifth grade students joined together to build a chanukiah out of Lego! Each student created their own pattern in order to make the chanukiah unique and special. Following the building, first through eighth grade students gathered in the gym for school-wide hadlakat neirot Chanukah! Winners to various contests held over Chanukah were announced and the final sevivon spin-off was held between the middle school and lower school champions. Then, the Lego chanukiah was lit and everyone sang “Maoz Tzur” together. It was so inspiring to sing and celebrate together!
