Yavneh Academy kindergarten students celebrated their 100th day of kindergarten with many special activities and festivities. The day started with “100 year old” Coach Lauren leading the children in 100 exercises. The children decorated and were adorned in their 100 days of school crowns, built structures from 100 cups, created a 100 number line, participated in completing 100 brachot and100 acts of chesed, compiled 100 words that the children know how to read and more! Students also had the pleasure of welcoming the beloved author Meish Goldish to their classes. The students really enjoyed hearing him read some of his own books, his famous 100-word poem about the number 100 and being entertained by him playing his guitar.
