For the fifth consecutive year, the Yavneh Academy Choirs were the featured entertainment at the annual New Jersey Devils’ Jewish Heritage Night game. The choirs performed on the concourse in between both periods of the game, which the Devils won, beating the Anaheim Ducks 3-1. In addition to singing in between periods, members of the Concert Choir had the privilege of performing the “Star Spangled Banner” on the ice before the game. An honor guard representing the Jersey City police force presented the colors, and the choir had a chance to meet them and thank them for their service before the game.
