Yavneh Academy Ganon students talked about the importance of Bikur Cholim in connection to Parshat Vayeira and Avraham’s brit milah. They learned that while Avraham was healing, Hashem sent three angels on a mission to visit him. One reason they came to Avraham was to wish him a refuah sheleima. The children shared with one another their ideas of how to make a friend feel better if they are sick. They then created a class book which included our ideas such as calling a friend to sing to their classmates a refuah sheleima song as well as bringing treats or toys to their home. Yavneh is so proud of the kind and caring middot the Yavneh students display to one another.
