In honor of Mother’s Day Yavneh Gan students learned about the artist Mary Cassatt. She is the first woman and American born artist that they have learned about during their art studies. Cassatt was famous for her portraits of mothers and their children even though she never had any children of her own. The students proudly created their own portraits with their moms to show how much they love them!
