Yavneh Gan Students Use Their Senses to Learn About Pesach

The Pesach Haggadah, explains that each person must see themselves as having personally come out of Egypt. When the Yavneh Gan students explored the story of Yetziat Mitzrayim they saw, smelled, felt and tasted the redemption. The students explored all of the elements of the sensory experiences that are represented on the Seder plate which serves as the centerpiece of the Seder table. They learned about how all of these foods on the ke’ara remind us of the way Hashem freed Bnei Yisrael from Mitzrayim. The students also made beautiful spring Pesach which they are very excited to use during the Seder.
