Yavneh Academy’s fourth graders collaborated to donate sports equipment to i-Shine so that other children might have enhanced opportunities to get active and have fun. The students also signed one of the donated basketballs to pass along their message of active, positive living. This chesed project was one of a number of initiatives completed as part of the class’s healthy living campaign, which also included literary research, interviews and student participation in the Benjamin Schwartz Memorial Run with Yavneh Academy. Thanks to Michael Dube, founder of Dube Zone and leader of Sharing Seats, the class was granted the wonderful opportunity to bring healthy living and smiles to the faces of others.
