Prior to Pesach, a one page “mark off” Sefirat HaOmer calendar was sent home to Yavneh Academy families. On Erev Shavuot, students who counted Sefirat HaOmer with a bracha each day and marked off their chart were treated to an ice cream party with Rabbi Knapp. What a sweet way to start the chag!
