Yavneh’s Academy’s third graders presented smashing performances of “Big Big World” at the Route 17S Barnes and Noble. The program reflected their rain forest unit that began in March with a presentation of the “Wonders of the Rain Forest.” Their learning continued with each child researching a rainforest animal, and culminated with the creation of a gorgeous rainforest animals mural—created in the style of Henri Matisse—which was featured at the evening program attended by the students’ families and teachers.
