Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH) visited Teaneck Sunday evening, speaking at the home of Allen and Miriam Pfeiffer on behalf of Yes! Israel. The event was hosted by Sarah Paley together with Miriam Lightman and Miriam Pfeiffer. The Yes! Israel project is a not-for-profit grassroots initiative of Jaffe Strategies, an Israeli consulting firm. This project was founded by American olim Ruth Lieberman and Sarah Paley and has garnered the respect of both American and Israeli government leaders. Lieberman and Paley lead personalized, comprehensive tours of Israel for members of the U.S. government who will impact the decisions that are made affecting Israel and the Jewish people. Congressman Jordan and his wife Polly are grateful they experienced a Yes! Israel in-depth tour and spoke about their strengthened ties to the land and its people through the palpable personal perspective that Sarah and Ruth convey. There was a warm energy throughout the room during each presentation on Sunday. Both Congressman Jordan and Sarah fielded questions from the crowd, concluding the evening with engaging conversation.
