Yeshiva League All Star Games To Be Held April 3

On April 3, Yeshivah of Flatbush will host the first annual Yeshiva League Pass Yeshiva League All Star Games. The JV contest will be held at 7:30 p.m. and the varsity matchup is scheduled for 9 p.m. Each of the two games will be Eastern Conference vs. Western Conference, and it promises to be an exciting night in which the basketball season will be closed out in celebratory fashion.

A panel of nearly 40 experts, featuring representation from across the league, voted on which players merited placement on the teams as all stars. “A lot of the decisions were difficult for the panel due to the depth of talent in the league, but we are confident that everyone who made the team deserves to be there,” Yeshiva League Pass CEO Akiva Poppers said. There is also diversity within the rosters—almost every school in the league is represented.

The final two spots on each team were chosen via fan vote on a group of candidates selected by the expert panel. The varsity fan vote received over 3600 responses in just one day of balloting, and numerous players received over 500 votes.

The jerseys for the game are sponsored by Camp Seneca Lake, Yeshivah of Flatbush and Yeshiva League Pass. They are high-quality Nike products and feature the Yeshiva League Pass logo within a star and the Flatbush logo as the “0” in 2024.

The All Star games promise to be a memorable ending to the 2023-24 Yeshiva League basketball season. Anyone who would like to attend in person should make their way on April 3 to the Triangle Capital Gymnasium at Yeshivah of Flatbush, and those who can’t should tune in to the Flatbush live stream!
