It was an emotional evening for the 400 plus people at Yeshiva Ner Boruch/Passaic Torah Institute and Ateres Bracha Neve-PTI’s 24th annual dinner. The celebration took place just a few days before the second yahrzeit of the rosh yeshiva’s wife, Rebbetzin Ita Singer, z”l.

Dynamic words of chizuk were given by Rabbi Pinchas Novoseller, rav of the Adas Israel Sfard Minyan.

Then came the outstanding 2019 honorees: Rabbi & Mrs. Baruch and Rivka Bodenheim, David Bernstein, Dr. & Mrs. Ilan and Debbie Rozanski and Leah Stein.

Rabbi Paysach Krohn, world renowned speaker, kept the crowd enthralled with his latest stories on giving compliments and building character.

And finally, the yeshiva heard an impassioned speech from a local askan on the need to grow the yeshiva beyond its current size. A new building campaign began a couple of years ago, he said, and now is the time to take that final leap of faith to make it happen. “Let’s build our building, to build Torah…together.”

Yeshiva Ner Boruch-PTI is led by its rosh yeshiva, Rabbi Shlomo Singer, and by its associate rosh yeshiva, Rabbi Baruch Bodenheim. More than 200 men and women learn through the yeshiva weekly, which boasts five levels of Gemara, three bein ha’zmanim programs a year, and through its women’s division, Ateres Bracha Neve-PTI, six inspiring ladies’ shiurim a week.
