Yeshiva University High Schools—better known as MTA and Central—very much appreciate the plight of their families and thus provide generous scholarships each year, doing everything possible to make the cost of tuition affordable to its parent body. Founded in 1916 and 1948 respectively, the schools have a combined alumni base of over 10,000 graduates and about 600 students presently, many of whom benefitted, and benefit, from the financial support the schools are able to provide.
In order to increase the funds available to help families in need, the schools launched a scholarship raffle with the top prize being one year of tuition or $15,000. Second place receives $2,500 cash and third place receives a $1,000 Apple gift card.
The raffle winners will be selected on Motzei Shabbos, December 19 at the Parent Appreciation Night, which is being hosted by both YU High Schools. Those interested in supporting this noble cause and entering the raffle should visit yu.edu/hsraffle.
