Yeshiva University Job Fair

New York—Yeshiva University’s Center for the Jewish Future (CJF) and Institute for University-School Partnership (YU School Partnership) hosted their annual Jewish Job Fair last week. The event was free and open to the public.

In addition to showcasing a variety of professional opportunities at well-respected Jewish schools, organizations, and nonprofits, the event provided a robust networking forum for job-hunters who sought information on everything from scholarships and internships to career development programming.

Rabbi Maccabee Avishur, associate director for teaching and learning at YUSP said, “Schools and candidates engaged in a systematic process that will help schools identify the best candidates for their openings and help job seekers land the best jobs.”

Dozens of Jewish day schools and community organizations from across North America and overseas attended to meet and conduct interviews with candidates. Participating organizations included University Jewish Chaplaincy, Organization for the Resolution of Agunot, the Orthodox Union, Aish NY, Fresko Foods, Camp Mesorah, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, Ohel, Camp Kaylie, and Areyvut , and more than 52 schools participated.
