Yeshiva University Plans Jewish Job Fair for March 1

New York—Yeshiva University’s Center for the Jewish Future (CJF) and the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration will host their annual Jewish Job Fair on Thursday, March 1, at the Max Stern Athletic Center on YU’s Wilf Campus, 2501 Amsterdam Ave. at 185th Street in New York City. The event is free and open to the public from 7 to 9 p.m., with priority admission for YU students and alumni beginning at 6 p.m.

In addition to showcasing a variety of professional opportunities at Jewish day schools, organizations and nonprofits, the event provides a robust networking opportunity for job-hunters seeking information on careers in the Jewish community.

“It is an incredibly exciting event—it’s very fulfilling and uplifting to be in a room filled with hundreds of committed and aspiring Jewish educators and nonprofit professionals collaborating to imbue Jewish schools and institutions with great learning, great teaching and the passion to make a difference,” said Dr. Rona Novick, dean of Azrieli. “Yeshiva University and Azrieli are proud to serve the community by providing this unique opportunity.”

More than 60 Jewish day schools from 15 states and diverse organizations from across North America and overseas will be in attendance to meet and conduct interviews with candidates, ranging from local schools in the tri-state area to Jewish communal institutions in the United Kingdom and Australia and the chaplaincy of the United States Navy.

Pre-registration is open through March 1. To book appointments with day school employers in advance and to receive email updates about which employers will be attending as well as to submit a resume before the fair, register at www.yu.edu/jewishjobfair/video.
