Yeshivat Chovevei Torah Rabbinical School is excited to launch its Community Shemitah Beit Midrash this weekend. With institutional and synagogue partners across the United States, the

Beit Midrash will meet on Zoom one Sunday evening per month from October 2021 through March 2022. Speakers will include a variety of rabbanim and rabbaniyot who will focus on various ways of learning and applying the Torah of the shemitah year to modern life, including YCT’s Rabbi Avi Weiss and Rabbi Ysoscher Katz, Rabbanit Yaffa Epstein (the Wexner Foundation), Rabbi Ari Hart (SVAJ, Chicago), Rabbanit Leah Sarna  (Drisha), Rabbi Hyim Shafner (Kesher Israel, Washington DC) and Rabbi Barry Dollinger (Beth Sholom, Providence RI). All sessions will include live closed captioning, and will offer ASL interpretation by advance request. All sessions are free and open to the  public with advance registration.
