(Courtesy of Yeshivat HaKotel) An unprecedented worldwide achdut learning experience will take place on Rosh Chodesh Sivan (May 24) at Yeshivat Hakotel.
For the first time in Jewish history, on the date when the Jewish people first arrived unified at the foot of Har Sinai, four Israeli chief rabbis (past and present) along with chief rabbis from countries around the world, are scheduled to speak together with roshei yeshiva of yeshivot from around the world from a wide hashkafic spectrum. They are joined by leading speakers (men and women) from around the world and leading chinuch couples who will speak about educating children.
The program includes speakers from all of our communities—Ashkanazim and Sephardim, litvacks and chasidim, yeshivish and Modern Orthodox, and includes over 80 sessions delivered by over 90 of the best-known speakers in the Anglo Torah world.
The program is being sponsored by leading organizations in each country around the world that has a significant English-speaking population, including OU, World Mizrachi, Office of the South African Chief Rabbi, and Aish Latin America. Yeshivot and seminaries as well as local shuls and schools around the English-speaking world have also joined as co-sponsors.
We anticipate viewage of well over 100,000, which will make this program the largest learning program since the original Kabalat Hatorah at Har Sinai.
The program is dedicated to the memory of the Novominsker Rebbe, Rav Yaakov Perlow, zt”l, head of Agudath Israel, member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah, and a leader whose wisdom and guidance benefited all of klal Yisrael.
The incredible list of speakers and more information about the program are available at www.vayichan.com or through Rabbi Reuven Taragin (0584702471, best by WhatsApp).
