It was yet another amazing, fun and educational Yom Ha’atzmaut at Yeshivat He’Atid. For elementary and middle school students, the morning began with a communal Hallel, followed by blue and white ice cream, and moved into an educational program. Students rotated through classrooms, each room dedicated to teaching about another aspect of Medinat Yisrael, along with fun activities.
Preschool and Shorashim enjoyed their trips to Israel, which included visiting all the different cities. Their visit began with a trip to the airport, where their passports were checked before they could board the plane.
In the afternoon, the entire school gathered in the cafeteria for the second half of the Yom Ha’atzmaut program. Each grade presented a Israeli song and/or dance. The highlight, as always, was the Daglanut presentation perfectly executed by the fifth graders!
