Yeshivat He’Atid students enjoyed an exciting “Shushan Purim” celebration! The day began with a school-wide Purim musical Bingo game. Over the loudspeaker, each class listened to upbeat Purim songs and checked them off their Bingo board as they danced by their seats. Fourth grade and pre-k students were the first to win. Screaming and cheering were heard throughout the halls as each class crossed another Purim song off their Bingo board.

Next, the entire school participated in a Purim Parade. Early childhood students became superstars as they marched throughout the school halls, socially distanced from other classes. Students stood alongside their pod-mates outside of their classrooms, clapping for the early childhood superstars. Students then participated in a school-wide costume contest. Costume finalists from each grade went to a special Judges Corner where Rav Ronen and other administrators selected the all-around winners. As everyone enjoyed fun carnival activities in class, Morah Ora, Rav Ronen and Morah Janice hand-delivered delicious mountains of blue cotton candy to each classroom. The amazing day ended with a balloon show for the early childhood students who were each able to take home unique balloon animals made just for them.
