The Third Graders celebrated Mesibat Rashi. Each class did a spectacular presentation in Ivrit with full student participation, recounting the story of Rashi’s life from his birth until his death. The student’s multimedia presentations concentrated on Rashi’s commentaries that were studied this year in parshiot Vayera, Chaya Sarah, Toldot and Vayechi. The productions were compelling and varied, including videos, models, plays, games and surveys. The students demonstrated enormous knowledge of the Torah as well as Rashi’s commentaries. In a beautiful ending to the mesiba, children, parents and grandparents had the opportunity to learn together.
