Yeshivat He’Atid’s early childhood department planned a fun-filled schedule packed with Tu B’Shevat related activities. In Morah Noami’s pre-k class, the students learned all about Tu B’Shevat in dynamic ways through cross-curricular instruction. They created their own stamps out of recycled materials to complete a beautiful tree painting. They played Tu B’Shevat Bingo and used sensory activities to hone their phonics skills. They received a small box of soil and/or seeds and moved their fingers through the materials to form their letters. Perhaps the best activity of all was the incredible Tu B’Shevat seder! The students learned about each fruit on their plate as well as the brachot and shared in a delicious feast with their friends.
