Yeshivat He’Atid preschool students participated in an impressive fair celebrating the conclusion of their unit study on sefer Bereishit. The children had a wonderful time reviewing the parshiot from sefer Bereishit as they walked through prepared classroom exhibits. The children played games and made beautiful crafts which all reinforced the stories from sefer Bereishit. For parshat Bereishit, the children made glow-in-the-dark bracelets. They made rainbows to remind them of Hashem’s promise from parshat Noach. They also visited Avraham’s tent from parshat Vayera, where they painted bruchim habaim signs to hang in their home. Parshat Chayei Sarah came to life as students created a bracha sheet to hold when lighting Shabbat candles. For parshat Toldot, the children played an exciting game about opposites. They even had races carrying water jugs to remind them of when Rivka gave water to all the camels in parshat Vayishlach. Finally, for parshat Vayeshev, the children played a game with Yosef’s coat of many colors.
