Yeshivat He’Atid eighth grade students really enjoyed visiting different sites in Washington D.C. They toured the Capitol Building, visited the Holocaust Museum, Smithsonian Air and Space Museum and viewed the Jefferson and Lincoln Memorials. The students had fascinating discussions about different types of leaders and the various qualities of leadership. They also engaged in discussion on what are the attributes of a hero and the importance of Holocaust remembrance. It was a fun, informative and important trip.
