The Yeshivat He’Atid seventh grade advisory class spent their school year engaged in two incredible chesed activities. One class supported Yad Leah, and the other class supported Sharsheret. Sharsheret is an organization that supports, in a variety of ways, Jewish women with breast cancer. The students ran a fundraiser earlier in the year and then packed 150 makeup kits. These makeup kits, called Best Face Forward, are provided to women fighting cancer to ensure they feel beautiful and dignified during a tough time. He’Atid is incredibly proud of its students who were empathetic and sensitive while doing this wonderful mitzvah.
