Yeshivat He’Atid Evening Mishmar Continues

Yeshivat He’Atid’s mishmar program has been a huge success as the eighth-grade students participate in beautiful evenings of Mishnah learning.

The students commenced the YH mishmar program this year by spending an evening discussing the mitzvah of tzitzit and some important halachic debates revolving around giving tzedaka. Due to popular demand, the program has continued into winter, despite the colder temperatures. Students just can’t get enough of Torah learning. Evening mishmar has even expanded to a sixth-grade girls program as well! This past week, sixth-grade girls learned about the halachot regarding birkat kohanim and the laws for a kohen who is a sniper in the army. The school’s warm community, particularly among students, is one of the many things that make Yeshivat He’Atid so special. Evening mishmar is such a great opportunity for students to learn together outside of school—bonding over Torah discussions, good food, warm drinks and cozy sweaters.
