In Ivrit class, Yeshivat He’Atid seventh graders learned about various cities in Israel. They spent the last few weeks focusing on the city of Tel Aviv and all of its interesting monuments, sites and architecture. As a summary project, the students selected famous buildings or interesting sites to research in order to complete a three dimensional model of their selection. They also wrote a report in Ivrit providing information about their project. The students learned that Tel Aviv has been working to promote recycling and to reflect this effort, the students used recycled materials to build their designs. They were able to use the information they learned about the structures to engineer their models. The students replicated the Azrieli buildings, large streets of Tel Aviv, the Menora Mivtachim Arena, the Moshe Aviv Tower and so much more!
