Yeshivat He’Atid partnered with Janell Burley Hofmann, an international author, speaker and consultant specializing in technology, media, health, relationships and well-being. She spent the day at Yeshivat He’Atid, providing lessons to the students in grades three through eight on digital citizenship and providing professional development to the teachers on internet safety and monitoring. In order to support the children’s development of healthy technology habits, conversations of the appropriate use of technology and the internet are crucial. Everyone is aware of the challenges faced in finding a healthy balance of technology. This is a balance He’Atid strives for in the messages and lessons to its children. Hofmann also presented to the YH parent body in an engaging, interactive session.
