In honor of Tu B’Shevat, Yeshivat He’Atid had a fun-filled day packed with Tu B’Shevat related activities, including a delicious Tu B’Shevat seder for all. The early childhood students completed stories and projects related to the holiday and spent time learning about the foods eaten on Tu B’Shevat and the brachot for each. They were so excited to share a delicious feast with their friends. The elementary and middle-school students participated in a day of inter-grade learning. Younger grades paired with older grades to study the concepts of midot and halachot related to Tu B’Shevat. When the children finished learning with their chavrutot, they had a chance to present to the other children what they had learned. The elementary and middle-school students also enjoyed a school-wide Bracha Bee. Over the course of two days, the children studied hundreds of brachot to make it to the Bracha Bee finals which was live-streamed for parents and the entire school to watch.
