As part of the bnei mitzvah program, fifth grade girls, sixth grade boys and their parents had the wonderful opportunity to learn about different chesed organizations including Sharsheret, Migdal Ohr, Yad Leah, Emunah and many others. The students and parents then learned various sections of Pirkei Avot and different sources related to the importance of mitzvot and midot. The school is incredibly proud of all the students who are looking to make their celebrations even more meaningful by incorporating these wonderful organizations in their bar and bat mitzvahs.
