While learning about the fifth day of creation, kindergarten went exploring and found an actual bird’s nest which they then attempted to recreate. The children were split into four teams and went about collecting twigs, grass, dirt, rocks and other findings. Each team then planned, engineered and constructed a nest. Once completed, each group checked to see if their nest could support an egg. Afterward, they discussed what birds might utilize to bind their nests together. It was a very exciting day for the students who were very proud of their creations!
