As part of fourth grade’s study of the state and local governments of New Jersey, they were honored to be visited by local State Assembly Member Deputy Majority Leader Chris Tully. He talked about the role of the State Assembly in the state government and his own personal responsibilities as majority leader. The students, having learned about state government, had the opportunity to ask thoughtful and penetrating questions of the leader. The students are next looking forward to having another exciting visit, this time from Teaneck Zoning Board member, and fourth-grade parent, Mark Mermelstein.
