The happy sounds of Rosh Hashanah could be heard throughout the shorashim classrooms. The children have learned all about bees and where honey comes from. They buzzed around the room and took nectar (apple juice) from flowers and brought it to their classroom hive. They enjoyed painting with honey and of course, tasting the sweet treat. Nursery A and B welcomed a special visitor this week, Morah Gabee’s abba, Hank London. He arrived with shofarot of many different shapes and sizes. The children were amazed at all the different shaped shofarot and the sounds that each one made. They learned so much, they are really excited to hear the shofar in their shuls on Rosh Hashanah!
