Sunday night’s Yom Hazikaron tekes, presented by seventh-grade students, was a poignant tribute, honoring the memories of four individuals whose stories resonated deeply. From the moving message and words of strength from the Nova Festival family to widowed Eishet Chayal Hadas Loewenstern’s personal message, to fallen soldier Ben Zussman’s heartfelt last letter to his family, each narrative touched our hearts and souls. Amidst somber reflections, the girls’ graceful dances and heartfelt songs provided moments of solace and unity. As students gathered, everyone also paused to remember and pray for the hostages in Gaza, underscoring the importance of compassion and solidarity in times of adversity.
