Students in grades three through eight had the opportunity to learn about the cities and history of Israel from a special guest, Ilan Frydman. Frydman, the liaison of the New Jersey shlichim of the World Zionist Organization, with the help of a very large map of Israel, engaged the students in discussing trivia, history and facts about Eretz Yisrael. The students enjoyed “placing” seas, cities and countries in their correct places and competing against their classmates in an interactive game. It was a fun and innovative way to learn about the land and celebrate Yom Yerushalayim.
