Kindergarten learned about standard and non-standard measurements. After reading “How Big is a Foot” by Rolf Myller, the students discussed different types of measurement units including pounds, feet and inches, and the various materials that are used to measure objects. The students then had great fun using unconventional objects to do their measuring.
